Good to know

We love to host. Our property has two houses on it and this is the south facing front house - behind it is a 4br house also available on AirBNB. Our house is located steps from great restaurants both fancy/affordable. Starbucks is directly behind the property as a great first stop, from there there are literally over a hundred places to go for food in the five blocks between the house and beach. Here's a sampling: list of places I love will be added later when I have more time. ———— The beach and bay are both right down the street, five blocks away, in different directions. And when you get tired of surfing, swimming or sunbathing... you can come back, relax and dry-off in the private back yard. Its a great place to BBQ. Everywhere in Pacific Beach is walking distance from my place. You're 15-20 minute drive from Mission Valley's shopping and the famous Fashion Valley shopping area. Sea World is only a 10 minute drive away, you can walk to the Catamaran Hotel for their daily dinner ferry, Downtown is a little over 20min, and the international border (Tijuana) is around 45min. If you are adventurous, you can go paddle boarding or kayaking in the bay, surfing (surf school has all the gear you need) check out Pacific Surf School or Surfer Girls Surf School, or snorkeling at the Cove in La Jolla. For the land loving, biking and hiking at nearby Mission Bay and the Boardwalk are both great. On my run around the bay every evening in the summer I see Sea World's famous fireworks show every night. You can expect this listing to be clean but due to our close proximity to the beach you may find a permanent stain or minor breakage; we routinely replace items with cosmetic damage but not after every guest.
